  UM Loco是专业的轨道车辆动力学仿真模块, 适用于机车、客车和货车)。 UM Loco使用高效率高精度的数值方法求解车辆系统微分方程和微分-代数方程。用户使用UM Loco可以创建全参数化的机车车辆模型, 物体几何、惯量和力元等参数都可以用标识符。参数化的模型更适用于动力学性能分析和 优化

  有时我们需要获得更精确的解或进行 耐久性分析, 这就需要在多刚体车辆模型中引入柔性体, 目前支持 ANSYS 和 NASTRAN, 这项功能由 UM FEM 模块实现

  曼彻斯特城市大学铁道技术系 是全球轨道车辆动力学仿真软件的标准测试和认证机构, 旨在帮助研究者考察各个商业软件的适用性和可信度。

  曼彻斯特标准考题发表于1998年, 既有客车模型也有货车模型。各大商业软件的测试结果详见参考文献[1]。 UM的测试结果请见 10_UM_Loco_Manchester_benchmarks.pdf (1 Mb)。

  许多科研人员进行了现场试验并验证了UM的仿真结果。Sakalo和Kossov [2, 3]建立了完整的TE116机车模型并做了现场试验,他们认为“… 仿真和试验结果吻合, 最大偏差不超过15 %。” Pavlukov和他的合作者用一个三大件式货车转向架做了仿真和试验, 其最大偏差不超过10%[4].
