Workshop is postponed

It is a pity to inform you that due to the coronavirus situation it was decided to postpone the fifth scientific and technical workshop “Computer simulation in railway transport: dynamics, strength, wear“

 

Wheel profile optimization for frieght and passenger cars using Universal Mechanism

A project regarding developing new wheel profiles for Vyksa Steel Works was recently finished. Developed profiles were patented. 

 

New 3D graphics for a railway track

We made some improvements in 3D graphics for a railway track. Ballast layer, concrete and timber sleepers with fasteners will be availabe in the next UM release, see attached pictures.

 

Deadline for registrations is extended

We inform you that the deadline for registrations to take part in the fifth scientific and technical workshop «Computer simulation in railway transport: dynamics, strength, wear» which will be held on 19-21 May 2020 in Bryansk, Russia has been extended to 3 March 2020. 

 

New UM Scene module

The new UM Scene module is pubished in UM 8.5.8. The module is intended for preparing advanced photorealistic environment for UM models. UM Scene includes a collection of standard 3D elements such as buildings, trees, steet elements.
